~I am following Jesus~

I am following the one who knows the way. If I keep my eyes on Jesus, I'll never stray. He has chosen this way before me and my Lord makes no mistakes. I'm following the one who knows the way!

Psalm 148

Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights. Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all ye hosts. Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created. He hath also stablished them for ever and ever; he hath made a decree which shall not pass. Praise the Lord from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps: fire and hail; snow, and vapour: stormy wind fulfilling his word: mountains, and hills; fruitful trees and all cedars: beasts, and all cattle: creeping things and flying fowl: kings of the earth, and all people; princes and all judges of the earth: Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children: Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven. He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord.

~Preach a Song~

Sometimes I think we sing songs and don't really think about what we are saying. I was laying in the bed last night singing 'I love Jesus and He loves me' in my head. I couldn't sing out loud because everyone was asleep. Sometimes songs preach to me. I mean if you really think about what you are saying, really listen to the words and break it down for yourself.
~
-I love Jesus, I really love him and not only do I love him, he loves me. He loves me more than anyone on this earth has or ever will. Jesus is in love with me! I love him more than the breath I breathe. He is the breath I breathe. When he said live I had to breathe. He gave his life on a tree. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Not just any death, a death worse than we could ever begin to imagine and all because he loved us. I love Jesus, I love him, I love him and He LOVES me!-
~
Doesn't that just make you fall in love with your Savior all over again? I will leave you with that... now go sing to yourself!

~Put God First~

I have just been thinking about where God has brought me from. He has been so good to me. I can't thank him enough for his goodness and mercy. I was reading in I Kings yesterday morning and these 2 verses jumped out at me:
1 Kings 2:2-3
...be thou strong therefore, and show thyself a man; And keep the charge of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgements, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and withersoever thou turnest thyself.
They were words of wisdom that David gave Solomon when handing over his throne. My dad's words of wisdom to me, "Put God first and everything else will work out." From generation to generation Godly men and women wish for their children that they walk in God's way because we know that all things work together for good to them that love God. It doesn't mean we have a perfect life or that we don't have trials and struggles, but even in those times, he is our strength. He is a strong and mighty tower that we can run in to.... he is our refuge. He is the one that holds our mind together when all circumstances say our mind should have give out a long time ago. If we put God first, the end result is prosperity.
I am not talking about wealth, but I am talking about things much more important than money. This is the definition of prosperity according to the Wikipedia online:
Prosperity is the state of flourishing, thriving, success, or good fortune. [1] Prosperity often encompasses wealth but also includes others factors which are independent of wealth to varying degrees, such as happiness and health.
