~Rivers of LIVING Water~

We've just come out of an amazing camp meeting at our church.  Every year gets better than the year before and God moves in such mighty ways.  This year we had a total of 8 people filled with the Holy Ghost.  People rededicated their lives to Jesus and people were healed.  We've shouted, rejoiced with singing, laughed, cried, danced before the Lord and just let God have His way in our lives.  We came expecting from the Lord and received more than we could have ever imagined.

We had a lot of testimonies last night in our regular Wednesday night service of just how God touched and changed lives.  I have witnessed an excitement in those I love like I've never seen before and I am so thankful.  I watched my friends getting in and receiving the Holy Ghost.  I am telling you there is nothing that compares to Jesus!!

There were some scriptures that rolled over in my spirit from the very start of our camp meeting and I wanted to share them.

Revelation 21:6
And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

John 7:38
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

Proverbs 5:15
Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.

John 4:14
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

My thought with these verses was that if we draw from what God has given us, it's not only going to touch our lives, but those we come in contact with as well.  A river is something that is constantly flowing; a well to be of any use has to have water that moves.  If it sits, it becomes stagnant and of no use to anyone and can even cause disease.

Bro. Ferree said something one time that really stuck with me.  He talked about how God fed the children of Israel with fresh manna everyday (except the day before Sabbath when they were to hold enough to last).  It wasn't meant for them to gather as much as they could and hold it as long as they could.  If they did get more than God had told them, it spoiled and was no use to anyone. God wants to get us fresh manna everyday.  It's not meant for us to hoard it, it's meant for us to share and pass on to those we come in contact with and as we give out, God will give us more to give.  His word tells us that it is more blessed to give than to receive.

If we sing, preach, testify, witness or just live our daily lives, we don't do it to be heard or seen of ourselves, but to tap into that river that will flow out the anointing of God.  We know the anointing has the power to destroy the devil's hold, to save the lost, heal the sick, raise the dead and leave us forever changed.

This is a daily walk, not a once a week thing or only when I'm in church.  God has something for us EVERY DAY.  I challenge you to read the Bible and pray more than you ever have, they are 2 weapons that the devil doesn't want you use because he knows he will lose ground.  It's time we walk on the devil.  He has walked on us long enough!!

Acts 20:35
I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Matthew 5:16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
