~There Is Coming A Day~

I have just a little thought to leave with you, but it is so great that my little mind cannot even begin to imagine the excellence of that land that is being prepared. My Bible reading for today was in the book of Zephaniah. It is a short book with a great warning about the judgment of God and a great promise for those who seek God. The part that stood out to me was chapter 3:17:
~
The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
~
Just like a Pentecostal to look right past the warning and onto the promise, right? (Only kidding) “He will joy over thee with singing.” I love that part! I sit in church sometimes and just listen to everyone singing together and to me it sounds heavenly, like angels singing praises to the King. Can you even begin to imagine a day when God is rejoicing over us with joy and will joy over us with singing? Maybe it isn’t saying he is literally going to sing to us, but that is what I think it is saying and I can’t even begin to fathom how awesome it will be to hear The Lord of Lords sing. If just hearing God’s children sing under his anointing can lift my spirit and break down walls in this life… can you grasp what actually hearing God, the Creator, sing will do? He speaks and worlds are formed, he breathes and it gives life. I am telling you there is nothing that we could imagine that will ever hold a candle to what God is preparing for us.
~
‘There is coming a day
When no heartache will come
No more clouds in the sky
No more tears to dim the eyes
All is peace forevermore
On that happy golden shore
What a day glorious day that will be!
~
Oh what a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see
And I look upon his face
The one who saved me by his grace
When he takes me by the hand
And leads me thru the Promised Land
What a day glorious day that will be!
~
There will be no sorrow there
No more burdens to bear
No more sickness and no pain
No more parting over there
And forever I will be
With the one who died for me
What a day glorious day that will be!
